Our client, one of the biggest Japanese insurance services companies is currently hiring a person who can take the initiative and is independent for the Innovation Researcher position.
This innovation research department is newly established and you will be reporting to Director
【 What you will be doing 】
- Research into financial/healthcare/insurtech-related innovations in Singapore/Asia
- Possess good analytical skills to identify critical business questions, and develop insights/report for management and headquarter
- Build and maintain connections with financial institutions, tech companies, incubators, VC and other players in the innovation space
- Participate in seminars held in Singapore and overseas to gather the latest information on Financial/Healthcare/Insurtech-related innovations
- Plan and promote Proof of Concept(PoC) to multiple stakeholders (partners, Japan headquarters, group companies), actively seeking their inputs and maximise the potential of PoC by fostering open and smooth communication
- ** Requirement**:

- Minimum 1 year of research experience in insurance/ FinTech or insurance consulting experience
- Able to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work with ambiguity with good project management skills
- Willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis
- Proficient in utilizing PowerPoint to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner
- Mutual collaboration with others to understand each other perspectives and find ways to create mutual benefits and outcomes to meet the objectives of all parties

[Advantage]
- Experience in research & business development in the digital space/ InsurTech industry, preferably in an insurance company-affiliated lab
- Market research experience in the ASEAN market
- Passionate about Insurtech-related research
