**The role**

As the UI/UX Designer, you will have a front seat in driving the UX strategy: Defining, owning, and delivering world-class user-intuitive products together with product managers and engineers. This role will have many opportunities to drive a significant impact on our user experience.

**Main responsibilities**
- Work in an agile team, partnering closely with the product manager and engineering team
- Immerse and familiarise oneself with the ins and outs of our business processes
- Collaborate closely with product managers to define features and solving problems for the customers
- Communicate the value and functionality in your design clearly and concisely
- Work closely with engineers to ensure that design specifications are implemented
- Champion for the prioritisation of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements
- Participate in sprint ceremonies with your team
- Champion a customer-centric & data-driven culture
- Analyse user behaviour and pain points through qualitative and quantitative research methods and make informed design decisions
- The ability to identity success metrics to tie UX back to business objective

- Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis
- Come up with user personas and journey maps
- Design sketches, low fidelity, high fidelity, and production-ready user interfaces
- Conduct usability testing
- Create and manage asset libraries for reusable design
- Stay ahead of UX and technology trends and drive UX strategy

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design or similar role
- Relevant qualifications/certification in design
- A portfolio showcasing high quality work
- Excellent knowledge of user-centred design principles
