The incumbent will assist the Head, Distribution Middle Office, and will oversee the Distribution Support function, including regulatory responsibilities, so as to support the Channels to carry out sales effectively and within regulations.He/she oversees the Distribution Support function under the Distribution Middle Office, ensuring that the output is timely, accurate, and meets the expectation of relevant stakeholders.Job duties includes: 1. Lifecycle management for all life & general insurance intermediaries: On boarding Movement such as transfer / promotion / demotion Off boarding including policies portfolio handling2. Customer Service: Oversees change of agent request from policyholder for all business lines Oversees the effective resolution for all queries / requests for assistance received3. Regulatory and Compliance Functions: Daily credit monitoring of internal distribution channel Monitor and administer debt recovery process for internal distribution channel Oversees Do Not Call Registry checks for distribution channel Conduct annual declaration for internal distribution channel Coordinate annual licence renewal for GI agents Provides report in relation to intermediaries for internal stakeholders, regulators and association within the agreed timeline Handles all audits under distribution support from internal & external auditors Represent department as risk representative4. Supervisory: Guide and mentor junior staff Review of process: Streamline processes to ensure relevancy Assess and review process in meeting regulatory and industry changes Review and updating of SOP5. Undertake User Acceptance Tests on new systems and process enhancements6. Any other projects or tasks as assignedQualifications Degree or Diploma in any discipline At least 5 years in a supervisory role managing a team of 5 to 7 staff, preferably in Distribution support or administration Able to generate reports using Excel Pivot Tables and create mail merge Good leadership skills with ability to lead change and drive excellence Highly organized, focused and able to work under tight timelines and pressure Independent, self-driven and results-oriented Meticulous with a keen eye for detail Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders
