Manager, Global Fulfillment

You will be a trusted leader of our Singapore Operations team, responsible for the punctual and secure delivery of our chairs to all local customers. Undergoing multi-disciplinary training and experiencing our ground operations on-the-job, you will be positioned to be principally responsible for the performance of the Singapore Operations team. Your key objectives will include making informed and data-driven decisions, implementing warehousing/ fulfillment best practices, and strategizing/ optimizing operational processes to meet key business objectives.
Our Operations team is essential for enhancing our customers’ experience and supporting key partnerships programs with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

**Responsibilities**

**1. Management**
- Provide inspired leadership for the Singapore Operations team’s performance, managing crucial aspects such as scheduling, coaching, counseling and formal/informal discipline
- Build a high performing Operations team through planning the department’s structure and defining the growth strategy to maintain an adequately skilled team
- Promote and preserve a healthy work culture which encourages performance and collaboration - this includes performance evaluations, performance reviews, and recommending rewards/incentives
- Work with the Head of Global Operations to define goals and objectives, monitoring and reporting the team’s performance regularly

**2. Fulfilment**
- Be the decisive point of escalation for critical customer issues pertaining to Secretlab’s Singapore Operations
- Oversee and lead vendor reviews & selection, negotiation of contractual terms (key performance metrics, pricing, SLAs, terms, etc.), training & management, and regular evaluations
- Be a key driver of continuous improvement projects to building automation-driven systems and processes for scalability

**3.Warehousing**
- Oversee inventory management (including backorders), reverse logistics, inbound/outbound processes, cost-optimization strategies and all other warehouse operations
- Strategically plan and forecast warehousing resource requirements based on company’s sales plans and projections
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with 3rd party Logistics (3PL) and directly managing their performance outcomes
- Develop and implement warehousing best practices and tools (TMS, WMS, OMS)
- Collaborate with internal product engineering team for product testings and setting up new SOPs as required
- Troubleshoot and resolve major real-time operations issues
- Review and consolidate billing payables
- Collaborate with relevant Singapore teams to provide necessary support (Showroom/ Office Assets/ Events)

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant course
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Operations, with exposure to local fulfillment and warehousing.
- Prior experience in a fast-moving startup or e-commerce environment is advantageous.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a leadership/ managerial role overseeing a small to medium sized team
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and local fulfillment best practices
- Critical thinker with a natural inclination toward data-driven decision making, you should have a mind for continuous improvement
- Experience collaborating with IT/ Tech teams to drive system improvements (TMS, WMS, OMS)
- Technically inclined, a nimble learner with creative solutioning skills
- Decisive, hands-on individual with the ability to work independently and in team settings to handle diverse situations within tight deadlines
- Intrapreneurial thinking - take pride in your work, be driven, initiative, result-orientated and versatile to adapt/respond to different types of characters and situations
- Able to communicate effectively on both technical and non-technical topics to customers and team members
- Open-minded approach, being ready to challenge assumptions in order to improve existing processes
