Senior Director, Events Marketing

As part of the Event Marketing team at ONE Championship, the Senior Director of Event Marketing will ensure 360-degree success for all ONE Championship related brand and marketing initiatives which support live event attendance, global broadcast, and core mixed martial arts product. This is a key role to ignite excitement among fans, through compelling storytelling and emotional connections, to drive tune in to global broadcasts and live event attendance — all on a quest to continue building the greatest global sports media property in Asia.

**Responsibilities**:
Drive in-market awareness & attendance of ONE ChampionshipTM events
- Develop marketing plan to drive awareness, ticket sales, attendance, and in-market broadcast viewership for each event
- Develop, manage, and implement event attendance plan
- Collaborate with internal teams & external partners to execute on proposed plans

Plan & execute promotional activations around ONE ChampionshipTM events
- Plan & produce events, experiential activations, and athlete activities to drive awareness of each event
- Collaborate with Commercial Partnerships & Public Relations teams to achieve a multitude of business objectives around each event

Refine & optimize ONE ChampionshipTM’s on-site & online fan experience
- Refine fans’ on-site user journey & experience
- Develop & execute unique experiential and/or digital on-site experiences
- Develop in-venue creative & marketing collateral

Build, manage, & activate network of local opinion leaders
- Assess the in-market opinion leader landscape
- Recruit top in-market opinion leaders, befitting and representative of the ONE brand
- Manage daily opinion leader relations
- Activate opinion leaders across a variety of brand campaigns

Track, analyze, and optimize attendance & viewership metrics
- Manage the monthly tracking of ticket sales, attendance, and viewership targets
- Educate the organization and develop new tactics to optimize attendance & viewership growth
- Execute market research initiatives to better understand each specific market, including consumer buying & media consumption habits, key opinion leaders, etc.

Manage event marketing budget
- Manage & track event-based Marketing budget, in collaboration with various internal team

**Requirements**:

- 5 years of event marketing/agency experience preferably in sports and/or live entertainment involving large-scale audience
- Outstanding copywriting skills with strong portfolio in paid/promotional marketing campaigns
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to details and process
- Able to multi-task efficiently and adhere to deadlines with strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Self-motivated, dedicated, hands-on and willing to go the extra mile
- Able to work independently and within team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle stress while staying nimble and flexible
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work varying hours, where required
- Willing to travel frequently (when possible again)
- Passion in sports and/or live event marketing will be a bonus
