Job Summary

The Logistics Executive will be based in Changi South, Singapore.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Responsible for Freight Operation escalation- Managing ad hoc freight quote request and escalation- Managing freight cost control and other external logistics cost control, e.g. 3PL Warehouse- Manage a team of cycle counters and ensure cycle counting process is in compliance- Manage Shipping/Outbound function team.- Manage local trucking forwarders- Responsible for the daily operation of shipping function- Responsible for the follow up of the cargoes damaged claim from forwarders- Responsible to support and provide information to Regional Logistics Team for forwarders RFQ activities- Provide quarters rating of forwarders' performance to Regional Logistics Team- Responsible for other logistics cost control and improvement activities- Provide monthly metrics reports and analysis

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
- Degree/Diploma in related field, preferably major in Supply Chain/Logistics- Minimum 4 years of hands-on relevant experience in Freight and Logistics industry- Good team player who is self-motivated, independent and has ability to exercise independent judgment in complex situations
