**What the role is**

We are a close-knit, high-performing, and multi-disciplinary research division in the Singapore Public Service. We are recruiting a Senior Manager to strategise, manage and front a range of research initiatives in Singapore’s social service sector.
The senior manager may also be supporting various research conducted by TSRD, including longitudinal/panel and birth cohort studies, environmental scanning and sense making, and economic evaluation on various areas ranging from family and child welfare, offending and rehabilitation, population studies, social service provision, quality of life, and future and current state analyses.

**What you will be working on**
- Participate in the development of both divisional and team research strategy
- Engage with stakeholders to gather needs and explore possibilities for collaboration and partnership.
- Secure resources for teams to address stakeholder needs.
- Support in translating research findings into practice and policy recommendations
- Represent the division on consultations to stakeholders on research.
- Engage agencies and sector partners for collaboration and alignment in terms of strategic objectives and implementation of research endeavours.
- Drive publicity or other public communications works in the division.
- Organise seminar, roundtables or research coalition for partners and stakeholders
- Provide and ensure high-quality reports and publications for a range of stakeholders (e.g., academic experts, policymakers, public).
- Support in the development of online dashboard

- Work planning and time management,
- Multi-tasking and working under time pressure from multiple stakeholders,
- Communication skills,
- Working both independently and as a member of a team.
- Basic knowledge of analytic software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Stata, etc).
- Understands quantitative and/or qualitative research methods and how they are applied Experience in working on large datasets is a plus.
