- Department: Finance/Legal- Location: Singapore- Team and Role Introduction:

- The role will be responsible for designing the processes and workflow for timely recording and reconciliation of all transactions of the Lazada payment business from a regional perspective. This position will focus on supporting the rollout of new initiatives and projects, ensuring their smooth transition and operation and driving transformational efficiencies and automation across all ventures, while ensuring the existence of sufficient controls to mitigate any risk implication. This role reports to the VP, Finance - Process Lead.**Responsibilities**:

- 1. Contributes to the review of business initiatives- Design process and suggest systems developments to support the success of business initiatives.
- Support testing and go-live
- Be involved in Business Partnering with relevant stakeholders.
- Create documentation of manuals and SOPs for new initiatives.
- Drive the deployment of processes in local countries from regional accounting

2. Build trusting relationship and continuous interaction with internal stakeholders, as well as, BPO (if required) to ensure high quality delivery of service and maximum customer satisfaction.
- 3. Support the transition of new entities/ workflow to Finance BPO when there are new initiatives, process changes or transactional work remaining in local ventures.
- 4. Identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities for finance operations- Conduct workshops to continually review work practices and identify pain points
- Re-design process for better operational efficiency, including adoption of automation tools, and resolve potential control issues

5. Participate in other projects as required

**Job Requirements**
- Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience with at least 2 years in managing projects / implementations.
- Prior Fin Tech experience is required.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work within tight timeframes, manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change.
- Detail oriented with excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills.
- Inquisitive mind to question status quo and propose improvements using automation tools and improve workflows.
- Able to be proactive in solving problems and developing creative solutions.

Requirements/Qualifications(good to have):
- Knowledge of US GAAP or SQL or SAP is plus
