Regional Finance Lead
Work Dynamics

**What this job involves**:
Business Partnering
You will be accountable for the successful delivery of the financial services as defined in the client contract supporting the Regional Account Director and the account team in handling business, operational, financial decision making and risk mitigation. You will also be identifying and implementing process improvements, cost reduction and quality improvements. On top of that you will be measuring and reviewing the financial KPIs.

You will serve as a single point of contact for the financial service delivery and manage relationships with the key stakeholders in the client’s organization.

Being detailed
You will be managing a team of 2 providing effective strategic leadership to the team and coaching, mentoring the team.

You will be responsible for annual budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting pack, analyzing operational data across the client’s property portfolio and ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to management team. You will be managing the ME process for the portfolio which includes the management of JDE E1/processing systems, budgeting & reporting systems, review ME reconciliations, monthly accruals and working with the team / Shared Service Centre and operations team to meet client deliverables.
You will also be responsible for the invoice payments and billings and it includes working with the Shared Service Centre to manage vendor payments and maintaining all necessary guidelines and manuals associated with the accounts payable/ receivable process. You will be accountable for the timely coordination of our invoice processing, managing our cash flow and monitoring the accounts receivable.

You will also be managing monthly, quarterly and ad hoc client requirements for the portfolio with inputs from operations team.

You will be supporting the account team in driving specific initiatives such as savings targets, benchmarking and implementing best practices.

Being transparent
You will be helping the business to be transparent by ensuring that the appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transactions. You will also ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy and is according to the recognised quality management processes. On top of that, you will also ensure that all operation staff are well trained on the financial systems and are effectively able to extract data.

Smart and experienced
You have a degree in finance, accounting certification preferred with at least 10 years of experience including 5 years with regional exposure. You are able to think strategically, solve problems and make decisions. You will have a real passion and interest for the industry, coupled with excellent business partnering & commercial finance experience.

Capable
You pay strong attention to detail and possess excellent problem solving skills. You have good work ethic and a positive attitude with a “can do” mind-set and will follow through on issues. You are also a self-starter with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.

Team player
You are team player who promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates and peers, regularly contributes to team discussions and problem solving/ brainstorming sessions. You are also an effective listener and communicator.
