**Legal Operations Coordinator ASEAN**

The role will be **responsible for knowledge sharing transfer** of best practices, coordination and steering activities in regard of law firm & billing management, Corporate Governance, compliance coordination, paralegal, and project solutions in support of all ASEAN LPC BP Team engaging on a “fit-for-purpose” basis and developing creative and practical solutions.

The role further serves as first-line Corporate Governance Business Partner, Digital Tools coordinator, and Compliance Reporting Coordinator for ASEAN countries in the absence of ASEAN Head of LPC ensuring Bayer’s business continuity in full compliance with local Corporate Governance laws, regulations, and internal Bayer Corporate Policies.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible to work closely with ASEAN LPC Head and Team of lawyers to drive the execution of critical & priority projects assigned to ASEAN LPC Centres of Excellence (Topic Experts) assisting in tracking, monitoring, and communicating project progress against project milestones as assigned by ASEAN LPC Head including assisting in monthly progress and variations.
- Organize Legal team knowledge management resources, acting as Knowledge-Sharing Steward responsible for administering / maintaining / updating / managing ASEAN LPC Cloud collaboration and filing systems (Share Point, Microsoft Teams, network E-drives, Bayernet Intranet, etc.) as well as for the lifecycle management, retention and inventory of ASEAN LPC files and documents.
- Act as a Corporate Housekeeping Centre of Expertise (COE - Topic Expert) working with counterparts in Global HQ, ASEAN LPC Team, external law firms, and key internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with corporate governance laws.
- Responsible for the oversight and regular Monitoring of ICM Risks & Functional Processes helping to ensure compliance with LPC authored (Bayer) MARGO corporate policies ensuring the best practices, processes and procedures are consistently applied.
- Responsible for the management of outside counsel matters (track projects assigned to outside counsel by in-house attorney, ensure firms are approved and engagement letters signed, etc.)
- Support ASEAN LPC Head and Team members with various administrative tasks (travel and meetings scheduling) and ad hoc projects; including with drafting of corporate governance documents (e.g. letters, officer certificates, powers of attorney, board resolutions, written consents), standard form notices related to contracts.
- Assist ASEAN LPC Head with the logistics related to ASEAN LPC Team recruitment process and facilitate any on-boarding / off-boarding, or work allocation activities and cloud collaboration processes and automation.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Degree in Business, Analytics, Legal Studies with at least 5 years experience spearheading legal operations.
- Strong track record and experience (3-5 PQE) in coordinating knowledge-sharing transfer and enabling teams (legal or otherwise) to do their best work by removing tedious, manual tasks from their day-to-day objectives, harmonizing best practices & policies, and managing outside law firm vendors or consultants.
- Postgraduate studies in corporate law and/ or paralegal experience desirable.
- Basic knowledge in process and project management. Strong track record on working independently and managing multiple tasks with minimum supervision in a fast paced and multicultural transformational environment.
- Deep knowledge of Corporate Governance. Solid corporate document drafting, including customization and use of standard templates. Understanding of cross-border coordination of Corporate Housekeeping processes.
