Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to join our dynamic fintech team. The Legal Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting our legal operations, focusing on obtaining and managing money licenses across various jurisdictions, assisting in fundraising activities, and overseeing equity management for our team. This position requires a keen understanding of financial regulations, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Money Licensing:

- Coordinate and manage the process of obtaining and maintaining money licenses in various global jurisdictions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal teams to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Monitor changes in legislation and update internal policies accordingly.

2. Fundraising Support:

- Assist in legal aspects of fundraising efforts, including due diligence, documentation, and compliance with securities laws.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth fundraising processes.
- Prepare and review legal documents related to equity and debt financing.

3. Equity Management:

- Oversee the equity management program for team members, including stock option grants, vesting schedules, and other equity incentives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding equity compensation.
- Maintain accurate records of equity distributions and liaise with finance and HR departments.

4. General Legal Support:

- Provide support on various legal matters, including contract review, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to address legal inquiries and provide guidance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably in the financial technology sector.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, particularly related to money licensing and securities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in a global regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of equity management and employee incentive schemes.
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
