**The Opportunity**

Working as part of APAC’s Pursuit & Bid Team, this role combines strategic thinking, leadership, project management and communication to deliver Aon’s Value Proposition to clients and prospects across Asia. The Pursuit Team sits across all solution lines and reports into the Sales & Growth Operations team, providing valuable support to Aon’s growth strategy for the region.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Head of Bid Management APAC, the key responsibilities are:

- Lead the Pursuit Team in Asia to support the growth plan, focusing on existing and new clients, cross solution line synergies and sales strategies to drive growth
- Support executing strategies for new business and client retention, championing global standards including qualification and Bid Management best practice
- Lead the Pursuit Team to share best practice and encourage innovation, seeking new ways to demonstrate and articulate Aon’s value to clients and prospects
- Assign projects across the team to ensure opportunities are adequately resourced, including assigning creative resources and peer reviews
- Project manage, write, revise, challenge and proofread proposals in response to RFPs, specifically for the firm’s largest opportunities
- Develop an understanding of a client’s / prospect’s business, including facilitating and participating in internal pre-tender strategy meetings
- Identify Aon’s differentiators / key messages and ensure these are reflected in the proposal / bid response, which may include responsibility for writing sections of the report
- Coordinate, and challenge where appropriate, the technical insurance and risk financing inputs of the team
- Coach and rehearse teams for RFP client pitches, and support and guide Pursuit colleagues to be effective pitch coaches
- Ensure applicable content and graphic libraries are kept up to date. Bring new ideas and showcase success globally
- Lead the team in developing and maintaining Aon and industry knowledge
- Manage the day to day needs, development and performance cycle of direct reports in Asia
**Requirements**:

- 15+ years professional work experience in insurance, ideally in client service, sales or bid management
- University degree and/ or a professional qualification (preferably Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field) from a renowned university\
- Solid project management skills and organisational skills, including ability to adapt to changing time pressures/flexibility
- Experience in the development of custom strategic content (leveraging strategic messaging/value propositions) and strong editing skills required
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting all deadlines
