1. Role Description:
Sales Manager plans organises coordinates and controls the operations of establishments that sell goods on a retail basis. He/she oversees the strategic and operational direction of retail shops.

2. Specific Responsibilities:
INDIVIDUAL WILL BE INVOLVED IN:
1.Trainee will understudy and learn about the product items and when to launch suitable weekly or monthly promotions.

2.Trainee will work with Director to learn and understudy how to do sales forcasting and budgeting for their inventory stock.

3.Trainee will be able to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs/demands and to provide good customer service.

4.Trainee will oversee pricing of products to ensure all pricing set are of competitive price. Trainee will also be able to do stock take to ensure all product quantity are well recorded.

5.Trainee will conducts market research on visual merchandising and shopper trends. Increase sales and buyer attention, capitalising on the human tendency to ‘window-shop’. Familiarize with fashion/trends in market to give better advise to customers.

6.Trainee will installs eye-catching product displays, store layouts and designs to promote the store's products. Creating attractive visual displays of our retail outlets, change of display to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

3. Competencies:
1.To learn about all the sales items and promotion for the week/month.

2.To learn about sales forecasting and budgeting

3.Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

4.Stock take and price checking

5.Conduct research on visual merchandising and shopper trends.

6.Manage and maintain the visual merchandising displays.

4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months

5. Approved Training Allowance: Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $3600
