Operations Director, Asia Pacific

_Execute on a manufacturing strategy using Asia Pacific plants and optimally placed _Tollers_ to ensure maximum operational agility and capacity to meet customer demand and business growth aspirations._
- _Oversee all Asia Pacific manufacturing plants and toll manufacturers for Formulation & Packaging (F&P)._
- _Develop asset strategy & make vs buy strategy in line with business LRP and drive execution to meet/exceed demand/supply plans, reconciled through S&OP processes to ensure product replenishment projections are optimized for customer service levels, working capital management, manufacturing capacity utilization and agility._
- _Establish management_ systems and operational metrics to ensure sustained continuous improvement in cost, quality, safety and order fulfillment._
- _Routinely assess organizational design for alignment with business growth and operations-supply chain strategies for scaling and competency deployment. Work closely with Global Operations HR Manager to continuously develop leadership skills, technical competencies/certifications, succession plans and cultural alignment with FMC values._
- _Optimize transportation, warehousing, import/export capabilities to ensure smooth flow of materials from source to customers. Minimize expediting and premium freight costs._
- _Continuously improve customer service operations from order entry to order fulfillment. Build professional competencies to improve customer facing interactions backed by clear processes and accountabilities for seamless order execution, issue management and communications._
- _Lead a cross functional team in collaboration with Innovation functions to ensure seamless commercialization of new product technology and well defined and documented manufacturing processes_._
- _Ensure FMC manufacturing technologies are documented in detail using a _well-defined_ process allowing for rapid deployment to alternative locations._
- _Partner with Global Supply Chain to identify and execute cost reduction opportunities._
- _Coordinate with Global Procurement _Category Director_ to select and qualify suppliers for raw materials, surfactants, packaging and solvent and to de-risk single source or sole sourced materials._
- _Responsible for _ensuring the_ Planning/S&OP and manufacturing functions are aligned on goals, and execution of global supply chain strategies._
- _Engage in contract manufacturing strategy with Asia Pacific _Tollers_ to ensure cost are clearly understood and profit expectations are managed._
- _Develop annual budget for the Asia Pacific Operations organization and responsible for its implementation. Prepare product standard cost budget including process fees, raw material costs and capital project investments._
- _Develop and oversee Asia Pacific capital investment plan and ensure compliance with FMC capital deployment process._
- _Accountable for approving MOC-SC, buy v make strategy & resulting contract negotiations and authorization related to AgS suppliers such as raw materials suppliers, contract manufacturers and logistics providers._
- _Developing operations network and initiating/tracking manufacturing excellence across F&P, material planning, asset scheduling, operation logistics & right to operate._
- _Ensure compliance with Responsible Care and Process Safety programs are properly administered at all Plants and Toller sites. Liaison with FMC Corporate and AGS professionals, _ensure_ compliance with applicable regulations (customs, transportation, packaging, labels, EHS, _etc_) are routinely monitored and reviewed._
