Description

China Labor Watch is looking for a seasoned Social Media Specialist to join our project team. You will be contributing towards multiple official social media channels, managing content strategy and quality for each; measure and analyze different campaigns to give data-driven recommendations to improve future performance. This Social Media Specialist position requires fluency in both Chinese with a keen interest in knowledge of human rights and labor issues in China.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and produce high-quality, engaging, original content that can be used cross-platform.
- Own and operate multiple official social media and signal channels, as well as the content strategy/output and results for each.
- Have high availability and support on urgent and high-priority communications work.
- Innovate and implement test-and-learn strategies along with delivering results.
- Analyze social media landscape to supply actionable insight (in real-time) to project teams with hot topics, breaking news, and sentiment/market observations.
- Engage and build communities through one-on-one as well as one-to-many conversations.

**Qualifications**:

- Oral and written communication skills in Mandarin Chinese are required.
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or social media-related roles for brands, managerial experience is a plus.
- Availability of at least 20 Hours per Week.
- Keen sense and understanding of human rights and labor issues in general.
- Able to prioritize and successfully complete multiple ongoing projects
- Awareness of the latest social trends and news.
- Strong knowledge of Twitter, BaiduTieba, and the sub-communities there.
- Well-versed with Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, WeChat, and TikTok.
- Strong sense of responsibility and resistance to stress. Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Residing in East Asia is a plus.
- Remote and startup experience is a plus.

- 能够优先处理并成功完成多个正在进行的项目
- 对最新的社会趋势和新闻的认识。
- 对Twitter、百度贴吧以及那里的子社区有很深的了解。
- 精通Twitter、Facebook、YouTube、微信和TikTok。
