**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and lead next generation credit fund products (including Lender Financing and NAV Financing for credit funds) with focus on asset-based lending technology for APAC under FFG. This includes identifying short-to-medium term addressable market and feasibility analysis, SMBC-tailored product scoping, development of credit evaluation methodologies, exposure and risk management policy, resources hiring, etc.
- Directly responsible for origination, structuring and execution of NAV Financing for financial sponsors in Asia Pacific time zone. Position will work alongside existing subscription finance fund product (including Hybrid/NAV for those funds) members to drive incremental NAV Financing pipeline based on dedicated NAV Financing KPIs and P/L targets
- Lead internal improvement of NAV Financing (including new underlying asset classes and client base) strategy and risk framework working with key stakeholders alongside existing subscription finance fund product members (including Hybrid/NAV for those funds)
- Identify and generate cross-sell opportunities to increase deal-based ROE and contribute to broader client account ROE including fund FX and derivatives
- Oversight over (and manage directly if necessary) execution team in mandate process and managing client expectations (including troubleshooting) throughout deal execution phase and conduct post-closing deal reviews
- Proactively seek for improvements in business efficiency and lead associated internal initiatives as well as conducting business, regulatory, policy or risk driven reportings
- Lead marketing strategy and dedicated product-based account planning for sponsors in conjunction with the global sponsor coverage and other product teams

**Job Requirements**
- More than 10+ years of direct experience in financing including but not limited to fund-level finances, corporate finances, project level finances with leading financial institutions.
- Basics of business judgement and ethical and professional standards
- Agrees with promotions of good teamwork as a member of the team
- Leadership and people management experience
- Good relevant degree from a leading university
