Our goal is to make our seniors' lives more fulfilling. That is why our community and volunteer activities are at the heart of what we do. In your role as a Senior Associate, you'll be responsible for managing the overall befriending services that includes working with Centre-in-charge to ensure that appropriate befriending services are provided to Seniors at their homes and overseeing the volunteer befriender programmes. You will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of befriending processes for all Active Ageing Centres.
**You will need to**
- Source, engage and guide corporate and individual volunteers to perform the role of befriender
- Liaise with agencies, educational institutions and corporations to manage volunteer befrienders
- Plan work schedules and review performance of befrienders.
- Work closely with the Centre-in-charge to ensure the smooth implementation of the befriending services and monitoring of seniors' conditions
- Ensure compliance with volunteer-specific and company-wide guidelines
- Ensure budgetary compliance to sustain our volunteer operations
- Strengthen policies and procedures whilst maintaining documentation accuracy and integrity
**You should**
- Have an interest/passion for working with seniors and people from diverse backgrounds
- Thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Have strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Be proficient in Google Suite Applications
**It would be great if you**
- Have experience in volunteers and befrienders management
- Are able to converse in local languages to engage our Seniors
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Business Management or other relevant fields
- Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in community or healthcare sectors
