Position Summary

As a Regional SCM analyst in Samsung’s Southeast Asia & Oceania office, this position will focus on supporting all product teams across sales offices in the region, and monitoring and reporting on internal SCM status and operational issues including risk assessments.

Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare reports on SCM KPIs, operational issues (e.g.: supply issue, aging inventory, low forecast accuracy) and progress of SCM projects to Management
- Monitor SCM system data to identify operational issues in sales forecasting / inventory management and communicate with sales subsidiaries to set improvement plans
- Conduct trainings and provide support to subsidiaries on SCM processes and systems
- Collaborate with HQ and subsidiaries on SCM related projects which may include system implementation, internal process improvement or customer collaboration
- Participate in SCM or business process innovation projects with internal/ external partners

Skills and Qualifications
- Around 1~3 years of working experience which includes at least 1 year in supply chain related functions
- Experience in a SCM business consulting firm or SCM solution consulting firm will be preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with advanced knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent working knowledge of systems(database or planning systems)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate well with peers and managers across various functions (e.g.: sales, marketing, finance, logistics) and subsidiaries
- Effective presentation skills as this role will require making presentations to management
