**Purpose**:
Supports Southeast Asia (includes Singapore and Malaysia) Performance Management & Compensation strategy and operations ensuring their relevance within the Global Performance Management and Compensation framework in order to build and sustain a high-performance culture, with primary focus on Singapore.
**Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities**:
- Ensure appropriate grade & salary infrastructure through regular review of market data
- Manage the end to end annual performance management and compensation processes
- Manage benefit design and strategy for SEA with support from Total Rewards Manager, SEA
- Monitor adherence to the global Total Rewards process and escalate any deviation
- Ensure compliance with external regulators and global Performance Management and Compensation processes
- Work closely with HR Operations and the Total Rewards team to finalize the implementation of the SEA operating model
- Provide compensation and benefits support to SEA broader HR colleagues, including country heads of HR and HRBP
**Business Accountabilities**:
- Manages salary structures and provides analysis and recommendations on geographical differences and advises on Performance Management & Compensation program design best practices to ensure alignment with the global framework
- Develop business cases for a defined project within Performance Management & Compensation area which may be stand alone or cross functional to determine potential benefits, clarify the rationale for investment and support the planning process
- Research primary data sources, select relevant information, analyze key themes and trends and make recommendations to inform policy for Performance Management & Compensation
- Research best practice and review and analyze detailed business models to support senior management/ Human Resources Business Partners in developing and improving processes and systems relevant to their area of expertise
- Provide advice to address specific technical queries
**Performance Management Accountabilities**:
- Model behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values
- Provide input into performance management discussions of project team members
- Provide technical direction/ advice within and outside unit
- Provide guidance and mentoring support for team members
- Take action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same
**Education & Experience**:
**Required**
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 7 or more years of experience in related field in Singapore
**Preferred**
Additional experience in Southeast Asia would also be an advantage although not a pre-requirement
Some experience in Global Mobility would also be a plus
**Certifications, Contact, Relationships**:
- Professional certification in Compensation, e.g. CCP, GRP
- Reports to the Total Rewards SEA Head with matrix line to Head of HR, Singapore
