Century Steel PTE LTD is a trading, distribution and processing company headquartered in Singapore with branches across the region. We’ve been around for 15+ years and as a dynamically growing stainless steel company, we’re looking to bring on someone to assist with the back-end operational tasks, including: preparing sales contracts, shipping/logistics documentation, preparing and reviewing shipping Bill of Lading drafts, inventory management, etc.
- Inventory Management: Prepare and update our inventory stock list on a regular basis to keep track of sold and unsold products
- Keep close track of shipping timelines to ensure that payments are made to the supplier in a timely manner, along with arranging shipment of goods to customer based on sales contract timeline
- Prepare a shipping release/bill of lading draft - once the goods are ready to be shipped, we need to inform the supplier to organise the shipment and follow-up accordingly
- Prepare sales contracts for our customers when an order is confirmed
- Create RFQ and purchase orders to send to our suppliers
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum academic qualification - degree/diploma
- Strong organisational skills as this role requires you handling a few stakeholders at the same time
- Strong and honest work ethic, focused, diligent and a team player
Prior to beginning work, you will be trained for a 2 week period to best prepare you for the role. Please note that this is a full-time position with in-person working conditions.
