- Ensure that all licensed products meet the quality standard and be responsible for negotiating the distribution, agency or license agreement
- Develop and implement the company’s marketing and communication strategies including Intellectual Properties for the licensing and merchandising business
- Work closely with local and international brands for collaboration and localized product offerings
**[Merchandising]**
- Responsible for the development and execution of merchandise strategies for all IPs, including product ideation, design & development, and marketing based on celebrities’ IP
- Source high quality vendors, partners, and factories for the manufacture of items, and negotiate cost price, delivery times and payment terms
- Responsible for ensuring that SM Entertainment complies with all contractual requirements for compliance, factory approvals and any testing required
**[Others]**
- Responsible for achieving sales target for license sales and royalties for licensing and merchandising business, and ensure profitable growth
- Focused development of bundling/assortment/ merchandise mix, input on current sales trends, logistics with vendors and licensees to support driving high per capita spending at retail revenues
- Partner with regional merchandising teams to determine and lay out strong promotions and events that drive revenues, while delivering profit
**[Job Requirements]**
- 3-5 years of experience in planning IP/Brand content
- Experience in propelling licensing partnerships
- Strong command in verbal & written English
- Fluency in Korean language is preferred
- Ability to read trends and has an eye for design
- Competence in leadership and communication, and can work well in a team
- Resourcefulness and ability to manage business demands proactively
- Experience in launching unique collaborations
