IT Manager, Global Technology, Asia

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for all daily IT operations and service desks and you will work together with the Global Technology teammates to ensure stable operations and to align technology solutions with business goals.

**What you will do**:

- Technology Operations & Infrastructure:_
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of technology systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure robust system architecture, network administration, and disaster recovery planning following Global GT standards and guidelines.
- Monitor network and system installation, setup, backup and administration.
- Backup network administrator to remediate IT Vulnerabilities on specified systems in timely manner.
- Be proactive in investigating any IT issues / error, proposing solutions and carrying out actions.
- Implement corporate IT security standards and policies.
- Monitor and manage daily backups.
- Manage enterprise software platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) and ensure seamless integration with Global Apps.
- AV management.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance:_
- Follow and Implement cybersecurity policies and practices from Global guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards published by our Global team.
- Team Mentoring & Development:_
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Project & Vendor Management:_
- Deliver technology projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals.
- Co-ordinate with regional and corporate teammates for Global IT project implementation.
- Meet the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Negotiate with outsourcers, vendors and contractors for IT product and services purchases.
- Implement ITIL or Agile best practices for service delivery and project execution.
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies:_
- In collaboration with the technology team and key stakeholders identify technology opportunities that support business growth and efficiency.
- Deliver digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, automation, and data analytics.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for deliver innovation.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:_
- Act as a liaison between IT and business units to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure high levels of user satisfaction through responsive support and continuous improvement.

**Who you are**:

- Qualifications & experience:_
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in support of Windows, MacOS, Active Directory, Office365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint etc
- Skills & competencies:_
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaboration: Skilled at working cross-functionally and building relationships with internal and external partners.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting to evolving business needs and technologies.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Demonstrates self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to manage relationships and team dynamics constructively.
- Time Management: Prioritises tasks efficiently, supporting team to do the same and manages multiple projects under tight deadlines.
