Director, Global Wealth Management Solutions, Southeast Asia Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven distribution candidate to represent Apollo in the Southeast Asia (SEA) Global Wealth channel. The candidate will join a fast-paced environment as a member of Apollo’s Global Wealth Management APAC team in our Singapore office. This role will suit a high performing sales professional looking to support our global wealth management sales efforts across SEA and contribute to strategic business priorities. Responsibilities Play a key role in driving the Global Wealth Management (GWM) business in SEA, a key strategic priority market for Apollo, working in close partnership with the GWM APAC team, the APAC Capital Formation team and senior leadership across Asia. Contribute to Apollo’s SEA global wealth sales strategy, leveraging industry mapping, peer analysis, and strategic planning to ensure business development goals and fundraising objectives are met. Proactively deepen and manage relationships with key distributors across the SEA region, including global/regional/local banks and wealth platforms. Work closely with the GWM APAC team for onboarding, due diligence, fundraising and post-sales lifecycle with private wealth distribution partners to provide best-in-class service. Develop expertise in private markets and Apollo’s investment solutions across asset classes and fund structures; represent the firm in market insights and product presentations. In coordination with the global Events & Brand Marketing team, plan and organize investor marketing outreach activities including roadshows, due diligence sessions and client events. Qualifications & Experience At least 8-12 years of prior experience, preferably within an alternative asset management firm or wealth management firm. Strong knowledge of the SEA private wealth distribution landscape with a track record of success raising assets from HNW investors; results-oriented and profit-driven. Sound understanding of alternatives and the ability to advise investors on their investment needs, building strong relationships of trust. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with colleagues, partners and clients to operate within the One-Apollo mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills including preparation and delivery of presentations. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex client needs and deliver first-class service throughout the product life cycle. Enthusiastic self-starter with a proactive and hands-on approach; high energy, comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment, and flexible with hours as part of a global organization.
