**Major Functions**:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Human Resources (HR) will secure our organization’s long-term growth by leading all talent acquisition and retention, career management, and learning and development activities. His/Her core responsibility is to work with the CEO and fellow Management Team members to ensure an effective strategy and implement the right policies and processes for recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention, and build an inclusive culture wherein team members thrive and work together to achieve organizational outcomes. He/She will also be responsible to ensure adherence to local regulations and company policies, and manage on-going compliance.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- The Director of HR is a member of the Management Team of WWF-Singapore and reports to the CEO
- He/She will proactively advise the CEO and Management Team on HR issues and risk, and formulate sound policies and strategies to mitigate them
- Works in partnership with other members of the Management Team to create and deliver a performance-led organization that encourages high levels of motivation and outstanding performance, and drives progress against goals and values of the organization
- Works with other heads of HR in the global WWF network to ensure appropriate career progression and exchange of ideas on talent management, and learning and development

**Duties**:
HR Strategy and Business Partnering:

- Provides leadership and consulting support to management on matters of reinforcing culture, setting goals, developing policy, implementing strategic objectives, and proactively identifying and managing risks. Aligns organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities to achieve goals
- Ensures that the organization develops a high-performing, mission-driven culture by strategically gauging staff morale and organizational issues, and by providing appropriate HR solutions
- Oversees talent acquisition and management, including staff training and leadership development, retention, recognition, employee communication and career development. Assesses and evaluates training and staff development needs and develops programs to meet those needs
- Drives HR business partnering initiatives to better support the organizational staffing and HR needs of individual departments

**HR Operations**:

- Supervises all Human Resources staff
- Develops and maintains performance management and appraisal programs. Provides assistance and support to employees and supervisors with questions and workplace problems
- Oversees the fair implementation of compensation and benefit programs, including job description and classification, salary structure and salary adjustments, keeping in view organizational priorities
- Assesses the competitiveness of human resources programs and practices against the relevant markets and makes recommendations for improvements and changes, in line with organizational priorities
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs. Ability to develop and maintain program such as competency matrix, employee engagement survey and talent forum.
- Creates and implements a learning and development program for all staff, including programs related to ethics, values and organizational culture
- Remains current with local employment laws and regulations. Maintains an effective program of compliance with policies, laws and regulations related to human resources in the Singapore context
- Oversees HR systems and employee records to ensure accuracy and improves the overall operation and effectiveness of the HR organization. Strategically drives the digitalisation of HR processes for more efficient and effective service delivery
- Proactively identifies gaps in HR processes, systems, technologies and data management and identifies and implements appropriate control measures to mitigate risk
- Oversees the payroll process in the company, with particular focus on payroll integrity, accuracy, risk mitigation and internal control
- Manages administrative support and facility management ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, efficient and clean working space and a service-oriented support culture where people take pride in
