**The Incubation Network **is an impact-driven initiative that sources, supports and scales holistic innovative solutions to combat plastic pollution through strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems with a diverse network of key partners.

Part of a highly collaborative community of innovators, investors, partners and programs, The Incubation Network works together with industry players to tackle key barriers to address plastic leakage and advance a circular economy. This includes sourcing and supporting, to scaling early stage or pre-investment solutions, and connecting compatible ecosystem players to reinforce the value chain in waste management and recycling.

Established in 2019, The Incubation Network is a partnership between non-profit organisation, The Circulate Initiative and impact innovation company, SecondMuse.

**Internship Description**

SecondMuse is seeking an intern to support The Incubation Network’s Programs Team. Your mission is to support the project leads in the design and implementation of programs. You will be supporting the different program work streams within TIN: Venture Development, Inclusive Markets, Network Development, and Sites & Supply.

This is a full-time internship with a minimum commitment of 2 to 3 months with possibility of extension. Part-time internship applicants will also be accepted on a case-by-case basis. We are currently looking for an intern to mainly support our Venture Development Team, but this position will be exposed to our other programs team as well.

**Requirements**:

- Support with relationship management to build a strong network who can partner with TIN ventures and support them to scale.
- Support the design and Implementation of programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of TIN.
- Support and manage our database of global mentors and technical experts
- Support the team to curate and develop capacity building resources relevant to our members
- Supporting communications and marketing including monthly and quarterly event schedules and updates

**What We Look For**:

- Organised, methodical and comfortable with creating and curating databases
- Excellent critical thinking and research skills
- Disciplined in working independently and remotely with virtual teams
- Capacity to work and thrive in a growing, fast-paced entrepreneurial organisation within a collaborative and multinational environment
- Passionate about the issue of ocean plastics and eager to learn
- Familiarity with Linkedin and online networking is a plus

**Experience**
- Demonstrable experience in a related field through project work or previous internships is a plus (eg: international development, social enterprise, startups and ventures, innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainability, recycling/circular economy)
- Familiarity and interest in open innovation programming such as challenges or hackathons, acceleration and community organising is a plus
