**Director of Human Resource**

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**1. HR Strategy and Planning**:
Â- Collaborate with School Leaders to develop and implement HR policies, processes and initiatives to support Schools strategic goals and priorities.

Â- Facilitates workforce planning and succession management initiatives.

**2. Talent Acquisition and Management**:
Â- Collaborates with School Leaders to develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and high-performing workforce.

Â- Collaborates with Key Personnels to identify staffing needs and implement effective hiring and talent management processes.

Â- Owns the full recruitment lifecycle, including screening, interviewing and selection, ensuring a positive experience to upkeep schools employer branding.

Â- Manages onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.

**3. Employee Relations and Engagement**:
Â- Drives initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being, including staff welfare activities.

Â- Champions a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued and respected.

Â- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by ensuring that employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances are addressed effectively in line with legal obligations and the MOE/Schools policies.

Â- Support the handling of disciplinary cases.

**4. HR Compliance**:
Â- Leads the daily HR operations to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and MOE/school policies.

Â- Maintains knowledge of market trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in HR-related matters, to appropriately advise stakeholders.

**5. Performance Management**:
Â- Manages and facilitates the performance management process for all staff types.

Â- Provides guidance to employees on goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development.

**6. HR Metrics and Reporting**:
Â- Conducts analysis of organizational trends in support of decision-making in HR-related matters and to evaluate effectiveness of HR initiatives.

Â- Benchmarking and recommending good HR practices for continual improvement.

**7. Compensation and Benefits Administration**:
Â- Manages compensation and benefits programmes to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards as well as schools objectives.

Â- Accountable for timely, accurate and efficient payroll activities in accordance with relevant legislation.

**8. HR Operations**

Â- Oversees day-to-day HR operations managed by the team.

Â- Drives and constantly review HR processes to ensure good employee experience from joining to exit.

Â- Provide secretarial support to Schools HR Committee and Board.

**9. Supervisory duties**:
Â- Leads a team of HR personnels, promoting a culture of open communication and teamwork.

Â- Coaches employee performance, ensuring staff development and empowerment.

**Requirements**:
Â- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a complex organizational setting.

Â- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Â- Strong work ethic and personal integrity

Â- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR regulations.

Â- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with Schools objectives

Â- Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills necessary to build rapport and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Â- Good knowledge of compensation and benefits strategies

Â- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in the use of HRIS, MS Office Suite and other office software.

Â- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Â- A creative thinker and problem solver

Â- Resilient and able to navigate a complex operating structure.
