**JOB SUMMARY**:
We are currently searching for **Regional Director-Medical & Professional Affairs (M&PA)**, a senior position who lead & manage the regional Medical & Professional Affairs team within the APAC region, manage the regional budget, overall attainment of objectives and execution of the Wound Care Business Area M&PA regional strategy. Based either in Singapore or China, this role reports directly to the Global VP of M&PA and dotted line reporting to the Regional VP Commercial APAC.
- Participates on the M&PA leadership team and helps align M&PA activities across the WC BA with all internal BA stakeholders.
- The Director of M&PA will manage the M&PA activities within a defined geographical area of the Region. These activities include coordination and leverage of KOL activities, organizing and implementing professional education events, clinical marketing, the development and dissemination of local evidence; including QIPs and case studies and managing local field based Clinical Specialists if applicable.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- The Director of M&PA is responsible for MP&A activities within their Region, including professional education activities, clinical marketing, KOL activities, development and dissemination of local evidence, budget and personnel management.
- The Director of M&PA plays a consultative role to the WC BA Global Marketing team and country based Marketing teams. Feedback will be provided on KOL development and engagement, medical society collaboration, the collection and feedback of medical intelligence and professional education content and other items as required.
- The role drives close cross-functional collaboration within the M&PA team to ensure achievement of objectives and further the WC BA mission and vision.
- As a player/coach the Head of M&PA is responsible for activities within their assigned geographic area. These activities include all relevant M&PA activities as outlined above.
- The Director of M&PA role provides operational direction to the WC BA in terms of relevant clinical evidence, medical information and intelligence, best practice and new innovations.
- The Director of M&PA is a member of the extended M&PA leadership team and provides input into other WC BA stakeholders.
- The Director of M&PA is responsible in building long term relationships with regional or global KOLs which support or expand current therapeutic concepts, new indications and ensures safe and effective utilization of products. This includes the formation and management of advisory and consultative boards as required by the WC BA.
- Advise on the appropriate generation of post market clinical data (with the exception of data required for regulatory or reimbursement submissions), globally and locally generated via the Medical Affairs network to ensure it is appropriately designed, collected and analysed including case reports, case studies/series, quality improvement projects, and observational clinical studies. Including the responsibility for all regulatory and legal requirements related to this.
- The Director of M&PA manages their Regional team members and is responsible for all budgetary needs and the ongoing professional development of their team members
- Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:
- Advanced Degree with at least 15 years clinical, medical or marketing experience in medical device or Pharmaceutical industry
- Experienced people manager with at least 5 years’ experience
- Works collaboratively and with a sense of urgency according to the Mölnlycke High Performance Behaviors.
- Commercial mindset.
- Is considered an internal expert in wound care related and has external credibility.
- Confident at external speaking.
- High level of understanding and analyzing scientific data and publications.
- Credibility with HCPs and strong relationship builder
