Business Development Executive

Work closely with clients and internal Lab & Hedging teams to help customers stay competitive or grow their business through recycling marketing.
- Acquire precious metals including catalytic converters, Gold & Silver within Singapore and other countries, and evaluate purchasing decisions with a focus on cost efficiency to ensure all business transactions are profitable for the company.
- Understand the business and marketing needs for precious metals recycling.
- Utilize handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technology to analyze Platinum Group Metals in catalytic converters as a preliminary gauge for procurement.
- Define solutions for marketing to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams for quality and timely marketing campaigns.
- Attend trade events, industry conferences, and networking activities to expand professional network, stay updated on market trends and regulations, and promote our services.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to generate leads and secure new business deals.
- Identify new market segments aligned with the company's growth strategy.
- Monitor industry trends and regularly conduct competitor analysis to understand the latest market developments, identify areas for improvement or differentiation, and explore potential business opportunities and threats.
- Achieve KPIs for revenue and profits within the stipulated timeline.
- Master methods of precise calculations for PGM/precious metals to provide accurate proposals to customers.
- Develop and implement strategies for business expansion.
- Work with the marketing team to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
- Proactively pursue debt recoveries from customers who have not met payment terms, safeguarding the company's financial health.
- Update the CRM system with supplier and business leads information and follow-up status.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Business Operations Manager on activities, targets, and performance.
- Ensure all business development activities comply with company marketing policies.
- Assist with ad-hoc responsibilities crucial to the company.
Requirement
- Possess Class 3 driving license/Class D driving license is a plus, company vehicle is provided
- Training provided
- Metal Manufacturing industry
- Result oriented
- Good communication skill
