Sr Manager, Supply Chain Program Management Asia

**Job Summary**:
This position is responsible for planning & program managing the timely implementation of inventory stocking programs to support of operational priorities in accordance with Supply Chain Management’s strategic plan. The incumbent partners with operations counterparts, materials & planning, commodity team to streamline the business process of the different types of stocking programs (VMI, Kanban, Supplier Consignment, ISA and JIT programs) for the different types of category of commodity.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Implement vendor management methods, governance standards, process and metrics for vendor performance against defined Service Level agreement.
- Participates in the executive “Pronto Project” meetings, present the supply chain program implementation progress, milestones and KPI status in terms lead-time reduction and inventory turns.
- Responsible for the vendor performance, contract administration and compliance
- Analyse BOM material lead-times, design and implement appropriate stocking programs for high dollar value to low value commodity, ensure minimum inventory liability exposure to accomplish operations strategic goals.
- Negotiates stocking programs agreement with suppliers to completion
- Monitors vendor performance on contract status, cost effectiveness of contract and oversees end-to-end contracting activities support the operation’s needs.
- Leads the development and creation of a short, medium, and long-term supplier inventory program strategy to meet SCM and operations goals
**Other Duties**
- Investigates and performs root cause analysis on suppliers who fail to comply to stocking program requirements and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure financial obligations to vendors are met in accordance to the contractual agreement by ensuring no payment discrepancies to ensure each vendor’s supply chain program continuity is not impacted

**Educational/Certification Requirement**:
- BA/BS degree in business administration, operations management strongly preferred. Directly related experience may be considered.
- APICS/CPIM certification preferred
**Experience Requirement**:
- **Work Experience**:8 years or more in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a broad knowledge of commodity, materials program & strategic supply chain management:
- Experience in contract manufacturing supply chain environment
- Proven strong team building and employee development experience
- Working knowledge of quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment
**Management Experience **_(for people manager job only)_**:
- At least 5 year of people management with strong leadership skills.
