**What will you be doing?**:
The Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Velocity complies with all applicable import and export regulations, including the United States, the Netherlands and Singapore, by working with a team of Trade professionals in developing, implementing, and maintaining corporate trade compliance policies and procedures. The Trade Compliance Specialist is also responsible for ensuring compliance for import and export transactions and providing direct daily support to all business units regarding the compliant movement of items by and for Velocity to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes.

In addition, you will also be expected to:

- Assist in developing, implementing, and improving Velocity's global trade compliance program
- Provides direct operational support for internal and external customer requests related to imports and exports of commodities

**Education, Experience and Knowledge**:

- Required Education_
- High School Diploma or equivalent, in any field
- Preferred Education_
- 4-year college degree.
- Required Experience_
- 1-3 years of experience with import or export compliance and international shipping
- Preferred Experience_
- 3+ years of experience with, trade compliance duties
- Experience with supporting U.S. Export/Import compliance regulations
- Required Knowledge_
- Solid understanding of Singapore and U.S. Import/Export Control Laws
- Computer literate
- Familiar with complex ERP systems
- Proficient with MS Office or similar
- Solid understanding of Singapore and U.S. Customs regulations
- Working knowledge in HTS Classification and ECCN/ECL Classification
