Trade Compliance Specialist (1 year contract)

  1. Regional Trade Compliance Support

Monitor APAC countries' import/export activities to ensure adherence to company policies and trade regulations.

Consolidate and review compliance-related data and reports from country operations.
Support regional HS classification maintenance, including updates and validation projects.
Assist with the preparation of regional metrics, dashboards, and compliance KPIs.
- Support saving opportunities project.

  1. Regulatory Research & Guidance

Research regulatory updates and maintain an up-to-date repository of APAC customs and trade compliance requirements.

Provide guidance to country SCM and Customer Service teams on compliance questions, escalating complex issues to the Manager.
- Support the preparation and review of FTA documentation and other trade agreement compliance activities.

  1. Audit & Process Improvement

Assist in planning and execution of internal trade compliance audits across APAC countries.

Track and follow up on audit findings and corrective action plans.
- Participate in projects to standardize and improve trade compliance processes across the region.

  1. Training & Awareness

Support development of training materials and facilitate knowledge sharing across country teams.

Promote compliance culture through regular communication and updates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3–5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or supply chain compliance in a regional or multicountry environment
Strong understanding of HS classification, FTA rules of origin, and import/export regulatory frameworks in APAC
Proficiency with MS Office/Teams; SAP knowledge a plus
Strong analytical and data management skills
Effective communicator, able to work cross-functionally across multiple countries
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
