**Sales Development**:
- Identify and target potential business clients within the pastry and foodservice sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Present and demonstrate pastry products to clients, highlighting quality and unique selling points.
**Creative Solutions**:
- Use creative thinking to identify and tailor solutions for clients’ unique business needs.
- Develop innovative sales pitches and product presentations that stand out in the market.
- Collaborate with clients to explore bespoke pastry offerings that align with their brand or menu vision.
**Market Research**:
- Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights to the product development team to align offerings with market demand.
**Account Management**:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
**Networking**:
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote products and build connections.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop creative promotional materials and campaigns.
**Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market insights.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the food or pastry industry.
- Strong knowledge of pastries, baked goods, and related products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Culinary training or certification in pastry arts.
- Established network within the foodservice or hospitality industry.
