**About the role**:
Learning Development Services (LDS) play a pivotal role developing academically credible, business relevant distance learning courses, using learning technologies to enhance student experience and to help equip students with the skills fit for 21st century employment. With a truly diverse, international student population we provide the opportunity and flexibility that students need to be successful in their studies.

**Degree Apprenticeship Distance Learning Tutor (Part-time, flexible contract, home-based)**

**BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions**

You will have expertise in digital technologies, we are particularly looking to tutors with applicable knowledge in;
- Network infrastructure design and implementation
- Net Programming including C#
- Relational Database Design and Development
- Low level computer systems architecture
- Web development including PHP, NodeJS and React

The role would suit someone looking for an additional role/hours or part-time work.

Hours will be determined on trimester-bases, on a module cohort numbers and credit weighting of the module. The hourly rate for delivery is £49.53 (including marking). For example, for a 30-credit module and a cohort of 15-18 students, would be 72 hours. Please note, hours are not guaranteed.
