**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to CEO, with the dotted line to the Dy CIO, the applicant will lead a small team to front and lead the research and development of fit-for-purpose financial planning solutions for our clients, and oversee the financial literacy training function of the company. This role will require working with multiple stakeholders and is a highly hands-on role, in addition to being a management role.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and develop the financial literacy function of the company, including management of a financial literacy team and its activities, development of curriculum for corporate business programmes, short courses, eLearning modules and the like, to support the corporate business channel
- Research and analyse financial planning philosophies, data, industry practices and industry trends, and design solutions for the Singapore mass market
- Analyse and approve insurance products for onboarding into the Company’s product suite, and/or support the relevant management committees in approving new insurance product categories
- Analyse investment solutions and products, monitor and analyse markets and performance, and support the Investment Committee and CIO/Dy CIO in portfolio management and investment advisory
- Provide content through the writing of articles and in various media.
- Provide input, develop, and/or vet and approve content for marketing, communication and dissemination to the public and/or clients, to ensure alignment to financial planning philosophy
- Provide insights and inputs to technology product team to advance their design, development and enhancement of MoneyOwl’s roboadvisory platform, and approve financial planning approach therein
- Support the CEO in media engagements and/or also be a spokesperson for the Company on professional financial planning matters

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Good degree in any discipline
- At least 7 years of work experience, including in a management role
- Passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of everyday Singaporeans
- Analytical, meticulous and numerate
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Fast learner, demonstrates ability to pick up knowledge about and has a strong interest in personal finance, including insurance, investment, retirement planning principles and national schemes such as CPF
- Experience in finance industry or relevant government bodies will be an advantage, but not a necessity
- Self-starter, able to multi-task, resilient and with a strong work ethic
- A strong team player who works well in cross-functional teams
