Safety & Facility Manager

Be part of the Supply Chain Team to lead the Facility & Safety of the office, lab, production plant, and warehouse. Responsible for the overall safety, liaising with authority and regulatory on all safety compliance matters for Ecolab. Be involved in the strategic planning for the sustainability project for Supply Chain.
**Responsibilities**:
**Safety**
- Implement global EHS strategy & initiative, ensure conformity to safety rules and regulations.
- Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines
- Monitor EHS performance, manage EHS auditing/certifications and assurance programs and track, review and take necessary actions to drive continual EHS improvement
- Conduct accident prevention training and health and safety training
- Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions
- Investigate accidents and incidents to find the cause and take preventive measures for further incidents
- Suggest solutions, improvements and preventive action for safety issues
**Facility**
- Overseeing the building maintenance, contract, and service management, i.e. security, cleaning, landscaping, printer etc.
- Manage emergency and ad-hoc repairs, breakdowns, and troubleshooting. Provide technical support and attendance where necessary.
- Plan and execute improvement projects to ensure that they are carried out within timeline and budget
- Lease Administration including keeping and maintaining proper records of all documents and correspondences
- Responsible for all the facility-related spend and executing saving project, cost control etc
- Maintain Strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Safety, Health & Environmental, Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management field is a pre-requisite.
- Hold **Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification** issued by the Ministry of Manpower Singapore
- Registered **Fire Safety Manager with SCDF and licence for Managed Hazardous Substances.**:
- At least **5 years working experience in the Safety** fields from **chemical or F&B manufacturing or **Flavors and Fragrances industry **(or relevant company which need to handle a lot of chemicals).**:
- Experience in managing a large and multi-cultural work team is a prerequisite.
- Experience in developing sustainable Training and Development programs.
- Familiar with **ISO 45001 & ISO 14001** and other safety certification
