**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Create value for the company, take daily commercial decisions
- Overlook and coordinate sugar trading positions in South East Asia, both on physical and futures; report risks
- Originate sugar in South East Asia and Asia Pacific
- Sell sugar with a focus on South East Asia and Asia Pacific regions
- Create a long lasting and profitable relationship with the customers and suppliers.
- Develop new customers portfolio, actively search for new customers helping the company to increase its footprint and profitability
- Manage the Physical/Futures risk positions
- Understand regional Sugar Supply and Demand
- Supply the global Sugar team with market information. Keep track of regional SnD.
- Work closely with GAI/GAR sugar teams, its accounting, operations and trading desks
- Have close contact with our market risk team in order to keep our counterparty risk controlled.
- Liaise with local trade execution team and finance team on all relevant topics for an accurate recording of PNL,
- Feed GAI/GAR Offices with info on market demand, client performance and any information relevant to GAI/GAR’s S&D models

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Business or equivalent with specialization in International Business, Economics or Supply Chain

**EXPERIENCE**
- Relevant working experience commodities trading, namely sugar

- Customer-oriented with strong networking skills.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills; ability to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing

- Mandarin, Bahasa speaking and writing is a desirable bonus
