Our client is one of biggest Commodities trading house in Asia, and they are looking to hire Chartering Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct day-to-day chartering related activities
- Freight chartering to support trading commodities such as Coal/Grain/Sugar/Steel Products
- Positioning/ scheduling of tonnage
- Following performance of voyages and work closely with Operations Department
- Build up relationship with shipping companies, brokers, port agencies, etc.
- Support internal traders and operators in team by monitoring shipment and collecting information.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors’ degree in Maritime Studies or equivalent with 7 years’ experience in Chartering and Shipping Operation
- Proficient in Negotiation, Chartering, Operation & Good Team player
- Good understanding of the freight market, and have good market judgement requiring intuitive sense, feel and trading experience.
- Dynamic, hardworking, meticulous and good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
