**PROJECT DIRECTOR
**Job Description:
- Supported by project managers and team collaborates with various stakeholders including engineers and contractors to make sure that the construction runs smoothly.
- Develops a timeline for the completion of certain milestones for a given project
- Creates a budget for the completion of a particular job, and monitors the amount of money spent in order to ensure the project does not exceed this amount
- Recommends changes to a project that is ongoing if it appears it is not proceeding on schedule or is producing unsatisfactory results
- Develops an alternate course of action for completing a job should the initial plan fail
- Makes presentations to investors, business partners and company executives concerning different phases of a project
- Reviews proposals and approves or denies them
- Schedules the construction timelines, co-ordinates work between various departments, conducts site meetings and carry out inspections on the works.

**Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to lead the project team through the full cycle of activities
- Responsible for end-to-end project management and construction of large-scale infrastructure projects and industrial facilities projects
- Execute and monitor project management and construction management
- Initial project setup and setting up project execution planning and managing the process
- Responsible for tender management from development of concept, preparation of tender specification and document to award the projects
- Procurement and scoping of resources, review tenders and plan logistics
- Manage complex mixed development programs spanning infrastructure, building and systems and interface with clients on design and technical discussions

**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Construction, demonstrating leadership and team building skills
- Degree in a relevant design discipline / Project / Construction Management.
- Be able to work unsupervised or with limited supervision to initiate and follow up with tasks without instruction.
- Have an eye for detail; accuracy and attention to detail in all work and show initiative in developing new ideas.
- Ability to identify problems, formulate solutions and implement actions effectively.
- Have strong analytical, research and negotiation skills, strong contractual knowledge including reading contractual terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the capacity to deal professionally and confidently with a diverse range of people at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to draft reports, tender documents, minutes, correspondences, procedures, processes and forms
