**About the role**

This role will bridge Sentient’s core development team and our community, promoting positive engagement and excitement about our vision and progress. As the **Director of Community**, you will build programs, initiatives, and incentives to engage the community, drive user participation, and create strong advocates for Sentient.

**What you'll do**
- ** Community Growth & Engagement**: Lead initiatives to expand Sentient's community through strategic outreach across platforms like Discord, Twitter, and Telegram, ensuring the community remains engaged and informed.
- ** Voice & Culture**: Help guide and shape the voice of Sentient’s community, representing the values of trust, innovation, and openness while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- ** Content & Programs**: Develop educational programs, contests, and engagement strategies (e.g., AMAs, office hours, Twitter Spaces) to educate the community, generate content, and grow the community organically.
- ** Moderator Management**: Scale the community by hiring and coordinating moderators across multiple regions as the community expands internationally.
- ** Data-Driven Strategy**: Track community-oriented KPIs and optimize strategies based on data, using feedback loops to inform both community initiatives and Sentient's broader business and development goals.
- ** Bridge Between Teams**: Act as a liaison between the community, development, and business teams to ensure community feedback is integrated into the product development roadmap.
- ** Crypto-Native Marketing**: Help Sentient’s marketing efforts by being terminally online, engaging with the community through memes, alpha leaks, and valuable content, all while maintaining the fun and informative nature of the community.

**Qualifications**
- ** Crypto-Native & AI Enthusiast**: Deep understanding of both decentralized AI and blockchain technologies, and familiarity with Web3 narratives and personalities.
- ** Community Leadership**: Proven track record of leading and scaling community initiatives in decentralized technology (Layer 1s, DeFi protocols, AI platforms).
- ** Technical Savvy**: Experience managing online communities across Twitter, Discord, Telegram, and using bots, tools, and analytics to scale community efforts.
- ** Engagement Experience**: Experience organizing and managing ambassador or community engagement programs, as well as incentivizing community participation through contests, token rewards, or similar initiatives.
- ** Data-Driven Approach**: Ability to track and measure the success of community initiatives, distill actionable insights, and pivot strategies to meet growth KPIs.
- ** Collaborative Team Player**: Ability to work closely with bizdev, marketing, and technical teams to execute community strategies that align with Sentient's overall mission.

- ** Existing Audience**: A personal following across Twitter, Telegram, or other platforms would be a strong advantage for evangelizing Sentient’s mission.
