**Purpose of the role**

This role is within the ESG Finance Department, Asian Investment Banking Division. You will closely work with the APAC Head of ESG Strategy, Products and Operations and drive MUFG's regional ESG strategy. We are looking for a high performing individual to drive the sustainable financing business and deliver on strategic priorities.

**Primary responsibilities**

**Training**
- You are an established ESG professional and will be in charge of developing and implementing a comprehensive ESG training plan for the Executive Leadership and wider MUFG team for capacity building
- You will be at the forefront of all relevant ESG developments and disseminate that knowledge internally through updates and calls
- You will prepare internal ESG training decks and deliver regular training sessions to local and regional colleagues through virtual and in-person sessions
- You will actively liaise with external organizations for supporting MUFG's sustainability training and development requirements

**Corporate Communications and Marketing**
- You will help to support our media plan to ensure consistent and highly effective messaging on MUFG's sustainable financing footprint
- You will enhance MUFG's market presence by developing a regional marketing strategy including organizing our sustainability events and participation in industry forums
- You will build and manage strong relationship with industry participants and media houses to grow MUFG's presence in the ESG ecosystem and position it as the leading sustainable financing bank

**Strategy & Risk Management**
- Support delivery on MUFG's sustainability priorities through close collaboration with all stakeholders and supporting relevant workstreams
- Ensure all business / ESG risks are managed and reported as appropriate with zero tolerance on compliance and regulatory matters

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience as a Training Provider or a PR/ Corporate Communications Executive
- Minimum 8 years experience with major ESG/ Sustainability developments and regulations
- Experience within Asia-Pacific landscape in ESG network
- Excellent English language communication skills and stakeholder management skills to successfully collaborate with other departments and team members cohesively
- Bachelor / Master's degree in any discipline
- Strong Project management skills with the ability to structure deliverables in a coherent manner
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and Presentation skills
