Energy is our future, save it. **Role Summary** The Senior Manager, Project Development is in-charge of leading the investment approval process within SEA, aiming at increasing the quality, competitiveness and compliance with group investment guidelines of ENGIE’s investments in Energy Efficiency and decentralized renewable projects in the region. The Senior Manager, Project Development will liaise with the Business Development team and all other relevant departments involved, as well with the Commitment committee members and HQ representatives in Paris, to control the quality of the proposed projects and organize the necessary approval process. **Responsibilities** - Lead the management of the commitment process, advice on the process, monitoring of the implementation of the Committee’s decisions, from project origination to closing. - Review of submitted documents to ensure clarity and sufficient analysis of the risk of the projects - Very good understanding of all aspects of the projects, such as commercial, technical, legal, finance and to be able to detect risks/gaps in the proposed projects and to provide relevant and constructive recommendations to the business development team. - Ensure compliance of the investment decisions with the group guidelines and processes - Proactively advise the CEO, CFO and other committee members on key business decisions, highlighting options, risks and opportunities. - Engage with the Business Development community to ensure proper knowledge transfer and transparency (training on the approval process, key financial concepts etc) - Monitor project pipeline and provide reporting on the projects submitted to the Commitment committee on quarterly/yearly basis. - Support REX analysis on bids won/lost. Provide recommendations to the management to improve win rates. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Project Management/Engineering or equivalent. - At least 10 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity and regional role in Business Development, Operations, and/or Finance & Controlling - In-depth understanding of commercial, technical and operational issues in renewables, decentralising energy infrastructure - Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism. - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills - Excellent leadership skills and ability to drive and influence change management. - Goal getting, driven, committed, with strong planning and execution capabilities. **When you join ENGIE, you will have access to**: - Recognition through remuneration compatible with the role and other additional benefits - Opportunities for personal and professional development - Business Unit: T&G- Division: T&G AMEA - South East Asia - Singapore- Legal Entity: ENGIE South East Asia Pte.
