Sportradar are the digital partners to Football Marketing Asia (FMA) who have a multi-year agreement with The Asian Football Confederation (The AFC) to key Asian football commercial rights.

The role:

To work in the Asian time zone and act as the product face of Sportradar for The AFC editors who are publishing content to drive fan engagement, involvement & interest at paceThe Product Manager will be a master of a multitude of disciplines:

Listening - being able to listen and then playback the issue The AFC editors may have
- Communication - imparting the key issues to the rest of Sportradar including the digital team in Vienna
- Ability and willingness to work ‘non-traditional’ hours - majority of the matches are in the evening Asian time and so this role will need to be visible when the editors are working (before/ during and after the match)
- Product - understanding the workings of a CMS platform/ of how websites work will be critical to hit the ground running
- Leadership - being calm under pressure and able to direct any issues to the relevant owner will be key as well as having the confidence to fix the issue yourself (likely over time)
- Ownership - as the face in Asia of the Sportradar digital team, owning the issue to completion will be essential

In more detail:
- Responsible for the smooth working of the platform and ensuring that any issues are understood, communicated appropriately, and resolved
- In depth understanding of the Sportradar CMS platform and its workings to further support The AFC editors in their desire to create, develop and deploy content at pace

Professional Requirements:

- A person who is technically orientated
- Understands CMS platforms and has experience in creating websites
- Product savvy- Strength of communication & leadership skills
- Previously worked for a Sports Data company - a bonus

Personal Requirements:

- Fluent in English (excellent written and spoken)
- Lives in Singapore or KL (if KL, then willing to work with The AFC head offices)
- Interest in sports - specifically football - a bonus
- Excellent communication and customer support skills
- Committed to upholding the highest professional work standards and ethics
- Positive, can-do attitude
