Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager (Telco) will drive the revenue of Global/Regional Service Providers (likes of Telenor group, Lumen, T-Systems, Singtel group, Brunei Telco/SPs) in Southeast Asia. This role requires a strong record of accomplishment in Telco strategic sales and will manage the engagement and development of significant deals in full collaboration with in country team of Major Account Managers, Channel Managers and Presales team. This role requires a strong hunting individual to capture opportunities with the end customers in the region, tapping on their strong connections in the Telco industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Strategic Thinking: Lead the development of an effective Telco Network infrastructure security business plan outlining the strategy for success and maximizing revenues.
- Collaborate: Work with internal stakeholders to implement the strategic plan through an effective sales engagement process.
- Customer and Partner Engagement: Work closely with customers and partners to meet all business and customer satisfaction goals. Work with prospects in the region to generate demand, create pipeline, and acquire new customers.
- Lead C-level/regional customer engagements to further Fortinet Telco Security solutions thought leadership and sales development.
- Success with demand generation activities, customer meetings and presentations, to drive financial growth in the region.
- Effective channel engagement process driving scale and growth through indirect sales motions.
- Dynamic interpersonal skills supporting effective customer and prospect engagement, internal alignment, and success as the ambassador for the Telco Security Advisor/Partner in the region.
- Experienced in various roles across numerous sectors and consultancy would be desirable.
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales position with strong network in the Telco industry in a regional capacity
- Strong understanding of Telco cloud, Mobile infrastructure (5G), Cybersecurity Mesh (SASE/SDWAN)
- Strong business development experience
- Strong network with the Global/Regional Service Providers and the telco leaders regionally
- Travelling is required once the boarders are open
