Manager, Regional Sales

**Main Objectives**
- Spearhead the area performance for (area to be designated) through various performance forums.
- Ensure area performance in line with Sales Delivery Management tool.
- Prepare, drive and lead APM calls as per designated schedule.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for coordinating relevant sales matters related to the Region.
- Drive the highest levels of quality towards our customers, be customer-oriented and create value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd.
- Drive performance across all Areas within the Region by exceeding Quality promises and KPI deliverables
- Guiding Areas regarding Segmented Verticals and/or Customer Segmentation
- Monitor portfolio data quality maintenance (catalogues) in FIS and Sales Force
- Drive and support key sales targets implementation and set-up of related processes (account plans, visits, portfolio coverage, opportunities, etc)
- Ensure Sales Meeting cadence (as per CBP) is adhered to in the area
- Sales Force Opportunity Management (Module and process owner)
- Monitor and drive Sales Force usages across Sales Team
- Rollout relevant Sales Trainings (in coordination with BSD/HR), example; Commercial Academy, Sales soft skill & product trainings, core selling and value selling, available tools (eg. QV, Sales Force and others), etc
- Partake in the FTE planning and resource allocation exercise with the areas to ensure right size.
- Support and drive action plans related to CES/NPS and other relevant surveys.
- Conduct CTW and assist in Area Visits (Area and / or QSC).
- Support and drive performance across all Areas within the Region by exceeding key performance indicators deliverables.
- Lead area performance calls with Areas and Trade Management with the goal of improving the regional performance.
- Grow knowledge and drive area usage of Sales Delivery Management tool.
- Monitor and drive continuous performance improvement across all Sales channels.
- Support and / or Implement Global, Regional and/or Area Sales performance related projects.
- Guiding Areas regarding Global, Regional and/or Area Sales performance related projects.
- Campaign Management
- Support any and all sales related product roll-outs
- External and internal Communication (Hapag-Lloyd Internal Portal and team sites updates)
- Potential representation in exhibitions and fairs.
- Ensure regional adherence to regulatory affairs and tariff filings where applicable.
- Support in generating weekly reports for comprehensive overview of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
**Requirements**:
- University degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced negotiation, decision-making and presentation skills, self-confident and friendly when dealing with others
- Demonstrated strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, self-motivated, resourceful and responsive
- Demonstrated ability to be multi-task, set priorities, organize work and implement action items
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to take initiative and work under pressure
- Attention to detail, analytical, systematic and efficient way of working
- Ability to work in a team and motivate others
- Works well under tight deadlines
