**Job Description - Accounts AssistantPosition Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in preparing, recording, and maintaining financial transactions in accounting software.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and follow-ups.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
- Assist in payroll preparation and staff expense claims.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and statutory requirements (e.g., GST, tax filings).
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve billing or payment queries.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience preferred (fresh graduates may be considered).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
