This role will be the lead of capital accounting and STECS claims process owner.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead / process owner of capital accounting and STECS claims.
- Outsource capital accounting and STECS claims process to RFD.
- Implement new systems for T&E claims.
- Work with fleet on capital accounting matters, including supporting their systems.
- Alignment of processes with MELL, PIL and PILL.
- Perform other financial responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

**MUST HAVE**:

- Diploma/Degree holder in accounting or a related discipline preferably with a CPA (of equivalent account designation)
- At least 5 years of experience in capital accounting or fixed asset accounting.
- Knowledge of depreciation methods and calculations
- Familiarity with capital budgeting and project accounting
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Power Bi, Tableau, Macros, robotics process automation. Key criteria to the role being successful.
- Proven experience in financial systems (Oracle, FCCS)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability required. Access capability is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Familiarity with the container shipping industry is a plus
