Fund Accountant

Our client, a venture capital firm is seeking to grow their team in Singapore by hiring a fund accountant. The firm works with top-tier institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, foundations, university endowments, and prominent family offices worldwide.
This role will primarily focus on fund accounting, portfolio company reporting, valuations, and assisting with portfolio monitoring and reporting.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow and related activities.
- Coordinate with fund administrators on investments, capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and quarterly financial statement reporting.
- Work with the internal investment team and portfolio companies to produce portfolio reports.
- Assist with new fund launches, including onboarding service providers, opening bank accounts, and coordinating with legal counsel for entity formation and fund documentation.
- Support audit and tax processes.
- Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc investor information requests, coordinating with investor relations and investment teams as needed.
- Contribute to revenue-generating projects, client acquisitions, and onboarding processes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Fresh Gradudates with an interest in Private Equity/ Venture Capital are welcome to apply.
- Strong team player, able to adapt to a fast paced environment.
