Through advertisement product development, product strategy, and data management, Rakuten Asia is enhancing Rakuten Group's core competencies to lead in an increasingly digitalized world.

As a **Publisher Partnerships Intern** with the APAC Publisher Partnerships team, you will support the team in managing publisher relationships, discovering new opportunities within the network, and conducting market research to identify and recruit new publishers. You will collaborate with the team while also independently driving creative projects, contributing to the growth of Rakuten’s presence in existing and emerging markets across the Asia Pacific region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular reviews of registered publishers to identify high-potential partners and initiate contact to activate them.
- Perform market research across various Asian markets to identify and onboard potential new publishers.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships with publishers.
- Lead and execute assigned smaller-scale projects from inception to completion.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Understanding of affiliate marketing and influencer strategies.
- Interest in digital media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in a secondary language covering any region in APAC.
- Media production skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Proven ability to work towards deadlines.
- Ability to work well within a team and prioritize workload based on company goals.
- Capable of sharing progress and updates on tasks with your team.

**Additional information**:

- 6 months internship duration
- Jan 2025 onwards.
