**Job Profile Summary**:
You are also required to perform investigation of any complaints, allegations of any sales conduct related complaints or serious misconduct allegations.

You will manage and oversee team members in assisting the Head of Sales Surveillance to deliver the following key deliverables:
Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Framework
- Support the Head of Sales Surveillance in overseeing the administration of the MAS Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework.
- Guide the team members in conducting checks required under the BSC framework, including documentation review of sales documents, client surveys and BSC validation of misconduct and mystery shopping cases.
- Led the team members in ensuring that the Independent Sales Audit Unit (Sales Surveillance Team, SS) meet the requirements of the regulatory Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Framework through the delivery of pre and post-transaction sales quality at organizational level.
- Investigate any sales conduct related complaints or allegations in a fair, independent and prompt manner.
- Maintain discipline and compliance to prescribed sales conduct for the distribution channels.
- Ensure the team members are competent and conversant with the relevant contents and requirements of applicable regulations, industry standards, Regional Compliance Standards and PACS’ business rules.

Fitness and Propriety Assessment
- Provide support and advice to business on matters relating to ongoing due diligence of existing representatives.

Replacement of Policy (ROP) Framework
- Oversee and administer the ROP framework, including the development of replacement rules while taking into consideration regulatory and industry requirements
- Supervise and guide the team in managing end to end ROP appeal assessment.
- Designated approver for all ROP appeals assessment.
- Proactively identify ways to improve business quality of the agency force through insights from ROP appeals, rules and process
- Drive business solutions to address business needs and requirements and provide business insights for regular and ad hoc analysis.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks, projects or reviews as directed by Head of Sales Surveillance/Head Distribution Business Partner/Head of Compliance/Chief Risk Officer.
- Participate in consultations/surveys of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines relating to the MAS Balanced Scorecard framework where required.
- Work with agency force to understand their business processes/procedures, provide guidance and oversight to identify gaps through detailed gap analysis and implement appropriate follow-up actions (e.g. develop/change processes in a sustainable manner, institute policy/SOPs etc) to close gaps in a timely manner to address regulatory/industry changes and PACS/PCA requirements.

- Good knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to the insurance/financial industry such as Insurance Act, Financial Advisers Act (FAA) and its subsidiary regulations, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations, Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board regulations, Life Insurance Association (LIA) guidelines.

**Working Experience**:

- At least 5-7 years of experience in a compliance role in a financial institution or similar
- Preferably with experience in dealing with Distribution functions and/or regulators

**Professional Qualifications**:

- Preferably with Insurance-related certifications (e.g. FLMI (LOMA), CMFAS Module 5, 9, 9A & Health Insurance)
