IDEXX is hiring for a Senior Business Manager, SAMI for the Companion Animal Group (CAG) line of business. The Business Manager has a clear, “on-the-ground” perspective of market opportunities across the South-East Asia, India and Middle East territories and develop strategic plans to grow the business. He/she leads the sales and service teams across the region, establishes a professional consultative sales culture that places the patient and customer in a primary position, and role-models commitment to customer and is highly performance-oriented.

**About the Role**:

- Develops commercial strategy at local level and accountable for consistent delivery of results through a team of managers and individuals.
- Drive sales and profit growth and foster customer loyalty to IDEXX products and service offerings.
- Represent SAMI in monthly and quarterly regional and global business reviews. Analyze performance patterns to see current success and probable future outcomes and translate to accurate forecasting and action plans for achievement.
- Develop a culture of high performance through embedding consultative selling.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with targeted strategic accounts, potential customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), government agencies, and industry associations, to promote Idexx solutions and to improve satisfaction ratings and closure rates
- Manage performance and growth of channel and distributor network across SAMI.
- Work within a matrix organization to drive consistent delivery of results through the sales organization, regional and global Centers of Expertise (COEs), Lines of Business (LOB) and Functional teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Science, Engineering, Business, Finance preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal English is a must, fluency in Thai, Mandarin advantageous.
- Financial acumen and budget management skills. Experience in setting and managing quarterly and annual goals and budget is essential.
- Experience in sales planning, setting profit-based sales targets, quotas, sales forecasting, demand management, execution of sales plan.

- Sales management experience leading a team of sales managers, channel and distributor partners.
- Develop the sales organization through embedding consultative selling, coaching, professional development, recruitment of talent, and performance management.
- Possess positive mindset, passion, pride and purpose in everything you do.
- Proven ability to prioritize, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, flexible, open and positive attitude. Excellent listening skills and adaptability are essential. Strong desire to learn about the company, the customers and the products is critical to success.
- Understand and evolve complex selling models with a track record of delivering consistent and quantifiable sales results.
- Operate with the highest level of ethics and integrity.

**Relevant industries**:

- Current Company: leads a major division or subsidiary of a multinational (preferably US) that is active in the animal health or human health diagnostics industry.
- Current Position may be Regional Sales Manager South-East Asia, Middle East, India. Channel and distributor management highly advantageous.

**Reporting Structure**:

- The role reports to the SAMINA Associate Director CAG.
- The sales leaders for Thailand, Singapore, SEA Channel Manager, Field Service Rep Manager for SAMINA (FSR), Key Account Managers (KAM) report to the Senior Business Manager SAMI.
